Fire Services
The Lake Cities Fire Department is a progressive municipal fire department operated by the City of Corinth, located along the Interstate 35 corridor in Denton County, Texas. Through interlocal service agreements, the City of Corinth provides fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services to the cities of Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores.
The department’s total service area encompasses approximately 30 square miles and serves a population of about 45,000 residents. Lewisville Lake borders the service area to the south, while the City of Denton borders it to the north. The department currently operates out of three fire stations and a headquarters facility and functions under established organizational principles focused on professionalism, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
