Celebrate Texas Arbor Day with Keep Corinth Beautiful at Eagle Pass Park!

Join us for an afternoon dedicated to trees, nature, and community. Pick up a free tree seedling while supplies last, enjoy family-friendly activities, and learn how to help trees thrive in your own yard.

Representatives from Tree Shepherds will be on site to answer your tree care questions and share expert advice. Be sure to attend their free Tree Pruning Workshop at 3:30 p.m. to learn proper pruning techniques that promote healthy, long-lasting trees.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this event is a great opportunity to celebrate the benefits of trees and grow your knowledge.

Why is Texas Arbor Day celebrated in the fall?

Unlike many states that celebrate Arbor Day in the spring, Texas observes Arbor Day in the fall because cooler temperatures and increased seasonal rainfall create ideal conditions for planting trees. Trees planted during the fall have several months to establish strong root systems before facing the heat and drought of a Texas summer, giving them a better chance to thrive for years to come.
