The Corinth Citizen's Academy is a free 8-week program designed to provide participants with an overview of the City's services and how they shape the day-to-day lives of our residents. Graduates will gain valuable insight into municipal operations through engaging sessions with the City's executive leadership staff, featuring hands-on activities and behind-the-scenes tours in a small group setting.

Sessions will be held every Tuesday night from 6–8 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks, beginning Tuesday, September 9, and concluding on Tuesday, October 28. Dinner will be provided for attendees at each session. A graduation ceremony will be held before the City Council meeting on Thursday, November 6. Attendance is required at a minimum of seven sessions to successfully complete the course.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Corinth. Limited to the first 20 applicants. Priority will be given to those who have not previously served or currently serve in an elected or appointed role.

Applications are due by Friday, August 29. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the program on Tuesday, September 2. Any additional applicants beyond the 20-person limit will be given priority for participation in the next session of the Academy.
