Outstanding Warrants

Defendants with warrants are encouraged to address their legal obligations as soon as possible by:

  • Appearing in person at Corinth City Hall at 3300 Corinth Parkway, Corinth, TX, Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (except City holidays).
  • Calling (940) 498-3201 Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (except City holidays).
  • Emailing the Court at court@cityofcorinth.com

Important Notes

Warrants remain active unless the fine is paid in full. In accordance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Art. 27.14(c), case payment will result in waiver of a jury trial and a finding of Guilty, which may be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Payment online will result in a conviction on your driving record if you have not previously entered a plea.

Individuals with outstanding warrants are encouraged to take care of them immediately in order to avoid an arrest for failing to dispose of a warrant. Individuals with outstanding warrants may be subject to arrest at home, school, place of business or during a traffic stop. The court must recall a Capias Pro Fine if the defendant voluntarily appears to resolve the amount owed and the amount owed is resolved in any manner authorized by the law.

Warrants are entered into a regional database system that enables law enforcement officers to check for active warrants. An individual with outstanding warrants may be arrested by a peace officer in a jurisdiction other than Corinth.
