Councilmember Henderson and her husband, John, have been residents of Corinth since 2007. She is a member of Thousand Hills Church serves on their safety team and the women's division. Mrs. Henderson serves as the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce President.
Along with her current service as a City Councilmember, Mrs. Henderson serves as a board member of the Crime Control and Prevention District, the Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Services District, and the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 3 (TIRZ No. 3). She has served as a board member for the Corinth Economic Development Corporation, the Board of Governors for Oakmont, the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Club North Texas, the Board of Directors for Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for Friends of the Family, and was a Founding member of the Christian Community Action Charity League.
